This course addresses the functionalities, advantages and limitations of ChatGPT in this context, with the aim of facilitating the integration of AI in pedagogical and research practices. It provides a broad picture of the different implications of ChatGPT, ilustrating it in an applied way through examples and concrete cases, while at the same time providing guidance on how to use it and optimal strategies. It also addresses the problem of how AI is reshaping educational assessment, proposing practical methods to focus attention on the assessment of essential skills such as critical thinking and problem solving. Ultimately, it is hoped to provide an in-depth understanding of the implications of AI in this context and a robust ability to employ ChatGPT.
