DESCRIPTION
A new CV model, the “narrative” CV, is being consolidated in numerous international research evaluation calls (United Kingdom, Netherlands, European Union). In Spain, this format has already been adopted by the State Research Agency, and by private institutions such as the BBVA Foundation in its calls for projects. The changes to be introduced in the accreditation system for university professors from 2024 onwards will also place greater emphasis on applicants “narrating” the main milestones achieved in their academic career, rather than the exhaustive lists of micromerits demanded until now. It is therefore necessary for university professors to be aware of the pros and cons of this new CV model, so that they can effectively present their achievements in calls for academic promotion and research funding in the coming years. For this reason, this course, after reviewing the new modes of research evaluation, which reduce the importance of indicators linked to scientific journals, will propose strategies and tools so that researchers can convincingly present their CV to these calls for proposals.
