1. Company Information
In compliance with the information duty established in Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, the following details are provided: The owner of this website (hereinafter, the Site) is EC3METRICS, S.L., with registered office at C/Gran Vía, 48 – 5th floor, 18010 Granada, holding Spanish Tax ID (C.I.F.): B-19523554, and registered with the Mercantile Registry of Granada, in Volume 1492, Page 59, Sheet GR-43035, Entry 1 (hereinafter, EC3METRICS SL).

2. Users
Access to and/or use of EC3METRICS SL portals confers the status of USER, who accepts, from said access and/or use, the General Terms and Conditions of Use set forth herein. These Terms shall apply independently of any General Terms and Conditions of Contracting that may be mandatory, where applicable.
3. Use of the Site
The websites of EC3METRICS SL provide access to information, services, programs, and data (hereinafter, the “content”) on the Internet owned by EC3METRICS SL [EC3Metrics; Sexenios.com; CIRC : Clasificación Integrada de Revistas Científicas (clasificacioncirc.es)] , which the USER may access. The USER assumes full responsibility for the use of the Site. This responsibility extends to any registration that may be required in order to access certain services or content. In such registration, the USER is responsible for providing accurate and lawful information. As a result of this registration, the USER may be provided with a password, for which they shall be responsible, undertaking to use it diligently and to maintain its confidentiality.
The USER undertakes to make appropriate use of the content and services (such as chat services, discussion forums, or newsgroups) that EC3METRICS SL offers through its Site, and, by way of example but not limitation, agrees not to use them to:
- Engage in activities that are unlawful, illegal, contrary to good faith or public order;
- Disseminate content or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic, pornographic-illegal nature, or that promotes terrorism or violates human rights;
- Cause damage to the physical and logical systems of EC3METRICS SL, its suppliers, or third parties; introduce or spread computer viruses or any other physical or logical systems that are likely to cause the aforementioned damages;
- Attempt to access and, where appropriate, use the email accounts of other users and modify or manipulate their messages.
EC3METRICS SL reserves the right to remove any comments and contributions that infringe on human dignity, are discriminatory, xenophobic, racist, pornographic, harmful to youth or children, threaten public order or safety, or which, in its judgment, are not suitable for publication. In any case, EC3METRICS SL shall not be held responsible for the opinions expressed by users through forums, chats, or any other participation tools.
4. Website Access and Passwords
4.1. Access to the Website by users is free of charge. However, certain services and content offered by EC3METRICS SL may be subject to prior contractual engagement and payment, as established in the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Contracting, in which case such terms will be clearly communicated.
4.2. Where user registration or the provision of personal data is necessary in order to acquire certain services, the collection and processing of personal data shall be governed by the provisions set forth in Section 9 of this Legal Notice, as well as in the corresponding Privacy and Data Protection Policy.
4.3. The purchase of products through the Website by minors is expressly prohibited. Prior consent must be duly obtained from their parents, guardians, or legal representatives, who shall be held responsible for any acts carried out by the minors under their care.
4.4. If registration is required for the use of a service on the Website, the user shall be responsible for providing accurate and lawful information. If, as a result of the registration, the user is provided with a password, they undertake to use it diligently and to keep it confidential in order to access such services. Users are responsible for the proper custody and confidentiality of any identifiers and/or passwords provided by EC3METRICS SL, and agree not to share them with third parties, either temporarily or permanently, nor to allow access by unauthorized persons. The user shall be liable for any unauthorized use of the services by third parties who access them using a password due to the user’s negligent use or loss thereof.
4.5. The user is obliged to immediately notify EC3METRICS SL of any event that may allow the misuse of identifiers and/or passwords, including but not limited to theft, loss, or unauthorized access, in order for the relevant credentials to be promptly cancelled. Until such incidents are reported, EC3METRICS SL shall be exempt from any liability that may arise from the misuse of such identifiers and/or passwords by unauthorized third parties.
5. Intellectual and Industrial Property
EC3METRICS SL, either in its own right or as an assignee, holds all intellectual and industrial property rights over its websites, as well as over the elements contained therein (including, but not limited to, images, sound, audio, video, software, or text; trademarks or logos, color combinations, structure and design, selection of materials used, and computer programs necessary for their operation, access, and use), either owned by EC3METRICS SL or by its licensors.

Pursuant to the provisions of Articles 8 and 32.1, second paragraph, of the Spanish Intellectual Property Law, the reproduction, distribution, and public communication—including the modality of making available—of all or part of the contents of this website, for commercial purposes, in any format and by any technical means, is expressly prohibited without the prior authorization of EC3METRICS SL. The USER agrees to respect the Intellectual and Industrial Property rights owned by EC3METRICS SL. The USER may view the elements of the Site and may print, copy, and store them on the hard drive of their computer or on any other physical medium, provided that this is solely and exclusively for their personal and private use. The USER must refrain from removing, altering, bypassing, or tampering with any protection device or security system that may be installed on the pages of EC3METRICS SL.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability
6.1. EC3METRICS SL shall not, under any circumstances, be held liable for any damages of any nature that may arise, including but not limited to: errors or omissions in the content, unavailability of the portal, transmission of viruses or malicious or harmful programs in the content, telephone failures or disconnections in the operation of this electronic system due to causes beyond the control of EC3METRICS SL, delays or blockages in the use of this electronic system caused by deficiencies in telephone lines or overloads on the Internet or other electronic systems, as well as damages that may be caused by third parties through unauthorized intrusions beyond the control of EC3METRICS SL, despite having taken all necessary technological measures to prevent such incidents.
6.2. EC3METRICS SL assumes no responsibility for any disputes related to the authorship of works published by partners or collaborators of the EC3METRICS Spin-Off that are not endorsed or signed by the company’s management, even in cases where the authors indicate their affiliation with EC3METRICS. Under no circumstances shall the company be held liable for the views expressed by such individuals in their publications, contributions to debates, conferences, or similar settings. All such opinions are expressed strictly on a personal basis, and EC3METRICS SL expressly disclaims any corporate responsibility for them.
6.3. EC3METRICS SL undertakes to make its best efforts to avoid any errors in the content that may appear on the Website. However, EC3METRICS SL shall not be held liable for any such errors, provided they are not attributable to the company.
7. Modifications
EC3METRICS SL reserves the right to make any changes it deems appropriate to its Site without prior notice, and may modify, delete, or add both the content and services provided through the Site as well as the manner in which they are presented or located within the Site.
8. Links
In the event that the Site contains links or hyperlinks to other websites, EC3METRICS SL has no control whatsoever over such external sites or their content. Under no circumstances shall EC3METRICS SL assume any responsibility for the content of any external link belonging to a third-party website, nor shall it guarantee the technical availability, quality, reliability, accuracy, breadth, veracity, validity, or constitutionality of any material or information contained in such hyperlinks or external websites. The inclusion of these external links shall not imply any type of association, merger, or partnership with the linked entities.
Notwithstanding the above, some links may have been previously negotiated or agreed upon with the party responsible for the linked content, in such a way that a compensation may be generated for actions freely carried out by the USER. This situation shall in no case affect the disclaimer of liability regarding the linked content nor the editorial independence of this medium.
9. Protection of Personal Data
9.1. EC3METRICS SL adopts the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, and/or access, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the stored data, and the risks to which it is exposed, all in accordance with the provisions of the Spanish legislation on Personal Data Protection.
9.2. The user may provide EC3METRICS SL with their personal data through various forms available on the Website. These forms include legal notices on personal data protection in compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), as well as Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights.
9.3. Likewise, EC3METRICS SL may collect personal data derived from your browsing and/or use of the Website, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.4. We kindly ask you to carefully read the applicable legal texts, particularly our Privacy and Data Protection Policy, before providing your personal data.
10. Right of Exclusion
EC3METRICS SL reserves the right to deny or withdraw access to its Site and/or the services offered, without prior notice, at its own discretion or at the request of a third party, to any users who fail to comply with these General Terms of Use.
11. General Provisions
EC3METRICS SL will pursue any breach of these terms as well as any improper use of its Site by exercising all civil and criminal actions available under applicable law.
12. Modification of These Terms and Duration
EC3METRICS SL reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, which shall be duly published in the same manner as presented herein. The validity of the aforementioned conditions shall depend on their display and shall remain in force until they are replaced by other duly published conditions.
13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
In the event of any conflict or dispute regarding the interpretation or application of this Legal Notice, the matter shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals determined by the applicable legislation on matters of competent jurisdiction. In cases involving end consumers, such jurisdiction shall correspond to the place of their habitual residence, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
In cases involving legal entities (businesses), both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled and agree to submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Granada (Spain).
